We're firm believers in preventive dentistry. At each visit we check your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, take x-rays when they're due, and give you a clear, honest picture of your oral health along with a simple plan to keep it that way.
You might benefit if…
- It's been more than six months since your last checkup
- You're new to Oakville and need a family dentist
- Your gums bleed when you brush or floss
- You want to avoid bigger, costlier treatment later
Why patients choose
preventive care.
Catch problems early
Cavities and gum disease are far easier to treat when they're found early.
Save money over time
Prevention usually costs much less than repairs, and most plans cover it.
Protect your whole health
Healthy gums are linked to better overall health.

Questions about
preventive care.
How often should I see the dentist?
Most people do well with a checkup and cleaning every six months. If you're prone to cavities or gum disease, we may recommend visits every three to four months.
Is preventive care covered by insurance?
Most dental plans cover checkups, cleanings and routine x-rays. We direct bill your insurance and accept the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP).
Do you see children?
Yes. We care for the whole family, and early visits help kids feel comfortable at the dentist for life.
