PFM

A PFM (porcelain fused to metal) crown is a type of dental restoration that is used to repair and protect a damaged or decayed tooth. PFM crowns are made of a metal alloy, typically a gold alloy, that is fused to a porcelain layer on the visible portion of the crown. This porcelain layer is designed to match the color and appearance of the patient’s natural teeth, making the crown look virtually indistinguishable from a real tooth.
